Policies & Tuition Information 2026–2027

Welcome to Maestro Music & Art Academy. Our mission is to provide high-quality music and art education in a structured, positive, and inspiring learning environment.
By enrolling, families agree to follow the policies outlined below.
  • Membership Terms
    • Enrollment covers the entire term
    • Tuition is non-refundable once the term begins
    • Early withdrawal may be approved in exceptional cases
    • If withdrawal is approved, completed lessons are recalculated at single-lesson rates
    • Enrollment is non-transferable
    • The Academy reserves the right to decline enrollment in accordance with it's policies
    • Participation in exams, concerts, and events requires active enrollment
  • Academic Calendar 2026–2027 (36 Weeks)

    Term 1 — 15 Weeks
    31 August – 20 December 2026

    Midterm Break: 26 October – 1 November

    Term 2 — 10 Weeks
    4 January – 21 March 2027

    St. Brigid’s Day: 1 February 2027
    Midterm Break: 15 – 21 February 2027

    Term 3 — 11 Weeks
    5 April – 20 June 2027

  • Enrollment & Registration

    • €100 Enrollment Deposit (Per Term): every student is required to pay a €100 enrollment deposit for each term.
    The deposit is allocated as follows:
    • €85 is deducted from the term’s tuition (new or inactive student)
    • €15 is a non-refundable registration fee (new or inactive student)

    Annual Deposit Deadline (IMPORTANT):
    To secure a student’s place for the upcoming academic year:

    • The €100 deposit must be paid before 15th June for all continuing active students
    • If the deposit is not paid by 15th June, the student automatically loses their reserved place and is moved to inactive student status
    • Inactive students may re-enroll only if spaces become available

    Single / Drop-In Lessons:

    Full-Year 1:1 Tuition Payment Discount
    Paying the full year in advance (before Academic Year start) gives a 3% discount:
    • 30 minutes — €1,012.68
    • 45 minutes — €1,414.26
    • 60 minutes — €1,885.68


    Mini Groups (2 to 3 students in a class):
    Important: Our instrumental and singing mini group classes are available only for siblings, friends, or family members who wish to learn together. With just 2–3 students per class, each student receives plenty of individual attention while enjoying the fun, confidence, and motivation of learning alongside someone they know.

    Group Classes

    Pre-Instrumental (Ages 3–5)
    • Max 6 students

    Art classes (Ages 7–18)
    • Max 8 students
    • 90 minutes — €21
    • 120 minutes — €26
    • €10 non-refundable deposit
    • Free trial

    Junior Choir (Ages 7–14)
    • 45 minutes
    • €12 per class
    • €10 non-refundable deposit
    • Free trial
  • Discount Programme

    We offer discounts to support families and multi-disciplinary learning:
    • 10% sibling discount for the second and additional siblings
    • 10% discount for a second instrument or subject
    Discounts apply to tuition only.
    Refer a friend – Earn €25 of credit with every student referred to the Academy.
  • Payment Policies
    Term Payment Requirement
    • The €100 enrollment deposit must be paid before the term begins
    • The invoice must be paid in full for the term
    • If an invoice is not paid by the due date, the student:
    - Is not admitted to lessons
    - Is removed from the schedule
    - Loses the €100 enrollment deposit


    Optional Monthly Auto-Pay (By Request Only)
    • Available by administrative approval
    • Automatically charges the registered card once per month (Direct Debit)

    Accepted Payment Methods (No extra fee)
    • Bank transfer
    • Revolut
    • Cash

    Note: Credit card payments outside auto-pay (example: Stripe etc.) carry processing charge.

    Late Fees
    • €25 late fee after payment deadlines (due date at the invoice)
    • €25 fee for returned or failed payments
  • Attendance Policy
    Individual 1:1 Classes
    • Less than 24 hours’ notice: lesson is forfeited
    • Two make-up credit per year (one per 18 weeks) for lessons cancelled with enough notice
    • Make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled
    • No-shows are forfeited
    • Late arrival shortens lesson time
    • Remote lessons may be offered upon request when suitable

    Group Class
    • Group lessons cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled if a student is absent.
    • If possible, the student may attend another suitable group class, subject to availability.
    • Where no substitute class is possible, the teacher will provide additional homework so the student can stay aligned with the group.

    Teacher Absences
    • Lessons are rescheduled or credited
    • Credits valid until 31 July
    • Substitute teachers may be assigned
    • Recital-week lessons may be replaced with rehearsals
  • Summer Programme
    Students completing 3 or more summer lessons:
    • Receive €10 off the registration fee in September
    • Are considered returning students
  • Exams & Competitions
    • Teachers support students in preparing for exams and competitions, including ABRSM, RIAM, and other recognised boards.
    • Students may only register for an exam upon the recommendation of their teacher, confirming readiness.
  • Concerts and performances
    • The Academy covers rehearsal and accompaniment costs on the day of a concert. Any additional rehearsal costs are the responsibility of the student/parent.
  • Photo & Media Policy
    • Consent for use of a student's image or recording will be requested at the time of enrolment via the Enrolment Form
    • Where consent is not provided, no media featuring that student will be used in any public-facing materials
    • Consent for under-18s must be provided by a parent or guardian Consent may be withdrawn at any time by notifying us in writing at info.maestromusicacademy@gmail.com
    • Personal photos or videos taken by parents at concerts and events are permitted for private use only.
    • All media materials are owned by the Academy.
  • Communication & Contact
    • Maestro Music & Art Academy uses the My Music Staff management system. Most communications are sent via the student/parent portal or by email.
    • Bulk messages and reminders are occasionally subject to error. If you notice any inconsistency, please contact us immediately at info.maestromusicacademy@gmail.com.
